southwest artisans cooperative
Southwest Artisans' Cooperative (SAC)
was founded and organized April 18, 2007
by Richard Hillman, Norma Sigretto, and
Lessandra Grimley. All three artists live in
the corner of the tri-state areas of Arizona,
Nevada and California. Seeing a need for
a place where local artists could gather to
display and sell their artwork, they started
their journey, step-by-step, day by day,
week after week preparing for an art
co-op, until finally, nine months later their
dream came to fruition - and they found a
Home!
Thanks to a very generous and forward-
looking business woman, Jackie Manuel,
they opened in July 2007 in the store
adjoining Jackie's Get Framed shop. And
then, Jackie decided to move her framing
business; so now Southwest Artisans
Co-op has doubled the space they had
three months before!
Having the extra room has made it
possible for us to offer art classes. In
October Molly Barnett had several wire
wrap jewelry classes. And the first of
December, teacher Bernard Brown had his
first class of Beginners Acrylic. This is a
six-week course on Saturdays at noon
until 3 p.m.
January 8th Janet Bour will be teaching
two stained glass classes back-to-back on
Tuesdays from 10-1 p.m. and again from
2-5 p.m.
We hope to add watercolor, oil, drawing,
pastel, and, color pencil. If you are
interested in an art class located in our
co-op located in Bullhead City, call us or
send us an email. 928-758-8680 or

We have ten fine artists with a wonderful
combination of talents - watercolor and oil
painting, pottery, sculpture, jewelry,
printmaking and more..
Our goals are to present to the community
a gallery where our patrons can browse
fine art, beautifully crafted jewelry,
wonderful earthenware, raku, and majolica
pottery, sculpture and more. And also the
opportunity to buy finely crafted art work
created by local artisans.
Our location is right in the heart of
